Description of Information Collected and Usage

Unless the user provides it voluntarily, Nihuo Software does not collect any personally identifiable information about visitors to www.nihuo.com and www.loganalyzer.net.

Some Nihuo Software pages permit visitors to request additional information. The information collected at these pages includes name, company name, and e-mail address. In addition, visitors are able to e-mail messages to Nihuo Software that will contain the user's screen name and e-mail address, as well as any additional information the user may wish to include in the message.

Nihuo Software uses the information visitors provide about themselves to fulfill those visitors' requests. Return e-mail addresses are used to answer messages received.

We do NOT keep credit card information as part of your product registration. We keep your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number in our database to send registration information to you.

Nihuo Software may use customer information to provide you with notices of new information that may be of use or interest to you. This may include newsletters, tutorials, Web site update notices, or notification on the availability of new products, product updates, maintenance releases, and beta versions of products.

Occasionally a customer may be asked to provide a statement, provide a reference, authorize a quote or testimonial, or participate in a press release or case study.

No customer is obligated to provide any details about the product or it's use. No statements will be taken or used without prior written consent of the individual making the statement AND his/her employers consent.

 

Policies Regarding Third Parties

Nihuo Software does not currently share, trade, rent, or sell the information collected from this site - or information provided to us by our customers through offline means - to any third parties. Nihuo Software does not have any plans to begin sharing, trading, renting, or selling any information about our customers or web site visitors to third parties.

Nihuo Software takes the protection of the personal information you provide very seriously. Personal information collected is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access.

We need your help in making sure your personal information is correct and up-to-date. Please feel free to notify us of changes to your personal information.

Newsletter Policy

We provide our visitors the opportunity to sign up for our free 10 lessons web log analysis tutorial and free newsletter, which allows them to be kept up-to-date on the Nihuo activities, upcoming events, Web Log Analysis news. You will receive this newsletter about once every month.

This is a double opt-in letter which means that if a user signs up, a confirmation e-mail will be sent before sign up is complete. This ensures that only the owner of an email address can sign themselves up.

The information we collect in the sign-up questionnaire is for internal use only. We will not sell, rent of give this information to anyone or any company. The only thing you will receive from us is: the newsletter itself, any administrative mailings or announcements of new newsletters and any change to this policy.

If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter, just follow the information at the bottom of every message.
